What's the Story?

Most of the guys that I know have been in a relationship like this...Just look at it for a second. Which relationship does it remind you of?

I was with this girl for about 6 months the first time and 6 months the second time. She had her hair colored when we first started dating and natural the second...hence the two fairy girls. During this relationship, I always hoped that something would click or we would actually have some real moments, but it never came around. It started to get really frustrating when I started seeing her clothes at my place...then a toothbrush...then a dresser. Before I knew it, she was living at my place and I was the only one paying rent. In the meantime, I was getting yelled at for working and going to school too much and she was redecorating MY place while I was gone. Obviously, this didn’t work out.

Fairy girls was one of the first paintings I did with this style of exaggerated movement, but in this situation, it was pretty much how I felt. In the end, she wanted to kill me and I just wanted to get the hell out. So the best advice I can give to the guys who are stuck in the situation, and I know there are plenty of you out there, is when your heart is sticking out of your chest and she’s stabbing it…Get out!
